Dodgy Speed Cameras

Has anyone ever been flashed by a mobile speed camera even though you didnt speed? Well it happen to me. It was around 10:30pm, I was driving 45 in a 60 zone becoz I spotted the camera, but as i drove pass it flashed me. I havent received the fine yet since its only been 2 days. Is there anyway I can contest this if I receive the fine? I have nothing to back my claim up.

I know there's a site where they list the model of faulty speed camera. So do a google seach, & then find out which model of speed camera flash you, if its in the list, then you have a very good case in your hand.

but how do you know which model flashed you? does it state the model on the fine?

There should be a phone number on the back of the fines, where you can request the relavant information.

i got flashed a few months ago on alexander pde when i was doing 40km/h where the speed zone was 60km/h. Apprently sometimes the flash needs to discharge itself and automatically goes off without taking a photo. I still havent any fine
