Hi All, its been a while since i have been online but i have been mega busy
I need to know what you guys recommend for brake pads & tyres
I don't know what brake pads are worth but i am only after the front ones, the current ones make this annoying noise and i have to tap them to get rid off it
Also i am after some tyres and dont wanna spend anymore than $200 each, any thing recommended?

something that i do not recomend is Silverstone tires,
They are ok in the dry, but really suffer in the wet,

Depending on sizes, ive heard falken tires are ok with price vs performance.

Yokohama s306's are ok too, ive had them before.

really depends on the sizing u r looking for. and what characteristics you want in your tire.

that annoying noise isn't so much the brake pads as the callipers ... it can come and go but you should have your callipers checked the next time you replace your pads...

i recommend RB74's for the front and COMP2 pads for hte back...these are all readily available from RaceBrakes (www.racebrakes.com.au)

FYI we've finished a brake upgrade kit and shortly it will be up as a group buy. The kit will include 4 pot lightweight alloy callipers 328mm rotors and a bracket to mount the new callipers... we're trying to negotiate the inclusion of braided lines as well...

Good to hear about the upgrade kit. What brand are the calipers?
