I've got PIAA ones and I definately recommend them.

Only problem is I got them from Japan as I couldn't find any local distributors or shops that had them.

I just buy $10 Trico ones (set of 2) and replace them every so often. I saw some silocone ones at Kmart last time for $10 a blade!

As for arms - I took mine off and repainted them (on my lancer) I will be doing the same for the FTO

Man there are soo many Crap wiper blades out there, it's not funny... I've gone through like 4 sets in 2 months... best so far for me are the Repco ones, the premium silicon ones...

I've used the silicon ones for years (Big Yellow, Big Blue, etc.) available from Big W, etc. They are fantastic and last at least twice as long as normal rubber ones, longer if your car is garaged away from the sun.

The places I know you can enquire about these are:

http://www.perfectrun.com.au

or

http://www.japanparts.com

When I was researching these, I found there were different types/branded of PIAA wiper blades. For example, the PIAA ones from the UK are slightly different from the ones in Japan. Part numbers are different also.

The ones I got are the PIAA Aero Wing super silicon wiper blades. The part numbers are WB500 (500mm) and WB525 (525mm).

But don't expect to pay K-mart prices
