What kinda gains???

Hmmm have yet to purchase my FTO, but i'm upgrading from......guess.....a Lancer, of course!!! I was just trying to get an idea of what kinda gains there are to be had from this engine. 6A12 Mivec that is.
Was looking to do Pod filter, 63mm throttle body, 2.5 cat back exhaust, Fuel Pressure Reg and E-manage (Greddy).
The Mivec engine is fairly highly tuned so gains i understand would would smaller than normal. However would 160-165 kw and around the 220Nm be unreasonable?????
That might bring 0-100 dash down to flat 7s and 1/4 down to 14s???
Suspension and brakes are another kettle of fish.
In regards to brakes, would replacing the pads with RB74's be enough or should i upgrade front disc as well?? Are Magna or GTO brakes a easily compatible upgrade?? Or should i go aftermarket DBA etc.
I didn't mean to write this much to begin with but hey, it happens.
Thanks in advance for any info
Simon

Difficult question to answer. I don't think that you are going to pick up that much, but it is hard to tell as you only get dyno results on power at the wheels.
Do yourself a favour though, get the UAS Custom intake pipe. They also have the engine pipe which gives some proven gains, but the intake pipe and pod filter are really worth while.
Brakes - depends on $$ and what you are going to be doing with the car. I would recommend buying DBA's (or similar) all round and RB74's for the front.
Suspension - you can spend as much or as little as you like. KYB's are excellent value for money, and with whiteline springs are pretty good. Koni adjustables are good too, but if your budget stretches to $3k, go with coilovers.
Really, you will gain more outright performance (as in on track performance) from pouring your money into the stopping and turning side of things.
Just my 2c's worth.

The car will be for the track and uh 'spirited driving for spirited people' within the law of course.
Are the rear brake disc important to upgrade or will upgraded pads be enough for them. Front definately upgraded.
How harsh are KYBs with whiteline springs, the car does have to be used as daily too. Coilovers will stretch the budget a bit too much me thinks.
I'm not hunting for big power, its not what the FTO is really for, however an extra 10kw or so would be nice.
Suspension is where most money will go.

i think itl be better to save the money from the GReddy Emanage and get a proper Coilover kit if power isnt the main focus of your modifications.

I think get the FTO first then talk about what you want to do. You may find that swaybars & strut bars may get the handling side of the car to your desired level as the fto's setup is quite good.

ya, boris is correct,
1st. is sway bars n strut bars, then go coilovers..
unless u got money to do both at same time..

Having already done all that what you are talking about, I would have to agree with most. The greedy might be a little over the top, you could probably get the same gains ( 10-15 kw ) from an aftermarket chip, like the Unichip, at a much cheaper price.
As for brakes DBA slotted at the front with RB74`s , rear standard rotor with comp 2 pads. The comp 2 pads are from racebrakes as well as the RB74`s. they recomend the comp 2 `s on the back.
