What air filter do people recommend for the MIVEC V6?
And should I get plmbing to reposition it to the front bar somewhere? If so what material/size
Will longer plumbing effect power?
Thanks

Anyone with any answers?
The car is fitted with a stock FTO airbox with CAI to the airbox.
Would adding a pod filter with CAI give me more power increase over a K&N panel filter into the stock airbox with CAI?

Spetz, you'll probably find the reason no one has responded is because this topic has been covered so many times before.
I can see you're a relative newbie, so let me introduce you to the
Search feature, which you'll see a link to at the top of the forum page.
You'll find that most common questions, problems and faults have already been covered on this forum, so do a search first. If your questions still aren't answered then add your query to a thread which relates to the topic.
If you do a search for air filters or CAI you'll find a number of threads with recommended filters, dirt tests and KW gains.

Try this:

I think Pod filters are good if you have a box/heat shield for them with a CAI... but there not exceptionally great if you just leave them in the engine bay like in the above article...
Also as I found out recently metal filters are not very good at filtering so very small dust particles can get in...
Boxes are good... but with the FTO one the piping is very restrictive... the advantages of a custom aluminium box are that you are using "pressure" with low restriction... that's all I can say...
