Custom Bodykit

Hi there... I'm hopefully getting my FTO this thursday (burgundy, manual, '95 GPX), and while I originally wanted a veilside bodykit (just like everyone else... *cough*) I'm now considering creating my own custom bodykit for it. I've heard a few people talk about it, alas with no details on how they went about creating it to begin with. I was just curious if anyone had more information ie guides, etc to guide through the process?
Any help would be greatly appreciated - if I do embark on this project, I'll be sure to keep everyone up to date!

indyfto said it cost him $1200 for a custom job but then that was Just for the bumper =/

Was this created by someone else, or himself? I'm looking for more of the 'diy' variety.

Wans't indyfto's actually just a hybrid of 2 original bumpers??
i'd say if u wanted a 1 off fully origianl kit u'd b lookin at big $$$
if u want a 1 off then they have to make a brand new mold and from what i hear its pretty expensive, not to mention that i don't think many places would do it just for one kit, there isnt enough money to b made

At the moment I'm looking at using a fiberglass kit, coupled with base pieces of cardboard, wood, piping and cloth as sort of the 'mold' which I'll work with. We'll see if it works as a DIY approach...

for small jobs, the fibreglass kits are easy to play with but if you wanna start building custom bars etc, it's a big big job... make sure you know what you're doing.
if you have had industry experience in this field then it's all good so hook us up if you come up with the goodies! keep us informed...
