Stock GR vs GPX headers and down pipe

Hi guys,
I just got a FTO GR 2l non mivec with custom extractors and down pipe. It is too loud though so I want to return the headers and down pipe to stock.
I cant find any stock GR headers / down pipe but have found some stock GPX headers / down pipe.
Does anyone know if they are interchangeable? I know the gpx piping is a bit bigger but will it still bolt up to the head?
From browsing the forums, apparently the RPW GPX and GR extractors fit both models (but the mounting flange at the down pipe is a bit different) so im thinking the stockies are similar and will bolt in.
Does anyone know for sure?
Thanks,
Mike

if its just the noise that you dont like, i personally wouldnt swap everything back...id just get a muffler place to put in a resonator in the exhaust .... thatll do the job... youll probly pay less this way than trying to return it all to stock too

It has also been mentioned before that having a stock air box instead of a pod filter may reduce the overall noise levels of the exhaust system.
Maybe try that out before splurging on a replacement.

hey onnzo, i would go with chiangstar's suggestion. a resonator will definately quieten down the noise considerably and it should cost you no more than $80 to get a good quality one fitted.

Hey guys,
Well I have already replaced teh rear muffler with a stockie... its nice and peaceful out the back now

but the extractors cause a loud hissing noise which i really HATE!
So im going to go back to the stockies. Filter is just a k&n in the box.
As for the swap - Its my daily driver so I need quick turn around times... I would want to do it all in one day... as for selling the extractors, the extractors themselves look ok - but the front pipe has been scraped... Ill consider selling them once they are off - but I probably dont have the time to remove install two sets...
payaya - unless you can take yours off and bring them over

- ill take mine off at the same time and we can swap

but im not sure it is a straight bolt on as the whole system was changed.

I put the stock GPX headers and front pipe on today - it took ages!!! but it bolted straight in

but i did have to slot teh cat to fit the gpx flange.
My custom extractors are off and ill take some pics of them (ill post in For sale too) They will bolt right up to a stock GR.
