Heater Core Removal/Replacement

Hey guys,

So I'm pretty sure my FTO's heater core is leaking / the pipe is broken..
I lost all my coolant, into the passenger footwell, engine overheats etc.

So I took out my dash because I didn't want to degas my AC, but I have no idea where the heater core actually is...
(I don't know a whole lot about this stuff, but I want to learn and I also like DIY things)

Could anyone please show me where it is or how I get to it from where I am?
Can't find any links or guides for removing it, but the dash removal guide was awesome, thanks dstocks :)

So here is the interior with the dashboard out:

I could see some coolant running down this black plastic on the lower left, and I took it out and saw coolant on the back of it too:

So yeah, any help would be greatly appreciated!
And i'm probably going to buy this as a replacement

OK, if you dont want to have to regass the aircon, the unit to the right of the evaporator will need to come out. You will need to undo the bolts holding in all the units to achieve this. The heater core itself is behind the unit thatis directly behind the centre console. You will need to take out the centre console as well to make this happen.

Hope this helps. Can provide more info if required. Will PM you my home number as well if that helps
