so i took my car to get a rwc after letting it sit for sometime.

mechanic said there is a pretty bad oil leak, said it could be cam seals but he's not sure, but its coming from the rear of the engine.
I'm thinking maybe rocker cover gasket?
engine is non mivec.

how hard are cam seals to change?
getting the car on Thursday and will start working on it then, and will defiantly know then, but just want to see if anyone can steer me in the right direction.

was reading through some old threads.
said if it was rear rocker it would leak on the timing cover and drip to the bottom of it.
i recently changed my crank angle sensor and there wasn't any oil inside the timing cover from memory will double check.

so if there is oil in the timing cover does that mean it is cam seals?
and if not it would suggest the rocker?

The rocker cover gaskets are notorious for leaking, as well as the half moons

Doesn't necessarily mean cam seals. Check your front and rear rocker cover bolts are nipped tight enough (not too tight or you'll snap them) if the gaskets are new. If not, pull your timing cover off and have a peek at the cam seals.
