Slugged by TNT?

Got an email from TNT about my camskill shipment (at 5:30am) stating that like $250 bucks has to be paid to them (about 140 GST, 40 "duty amount" and the rest "other")
What the hell? Is this correct?

How much $ was the camskill purchase?
Phone TNT and ask them, don't call the number on the notice you received, call them direct on 131150

That's why you are getting slugged from TNT.
You spent moar than $1000, anything over $1000 gets import taxed and GST.
A bit late now but you should have got it shipped in 2 different shipments.

Yep, import duty & GST for anything over a grand. Should have told them to mark the value down.
