Stat. Write off Engine Use

Had a quick google search but couldn't find much on engines...

Can you use the engine from a written off vehicle if its a stolen/recovered or something? Not 100% sure on how this all works. Anyone?

Yes..

My Evo GSR was stollen recovered and a repairable write off.. Cops issue the car with a new VIN number..

Using parts from a write off are fine, as long as you have proof of pirchase, and proof it was recovered..

Yeah.
The stat declaration is against the vehicles chassis, not the componentry within.
As Craig said, so long as you can provide proof of purchase for the engine, then you're sweet.
