Anyone driven a car equipped with one before?
Was surprised to see the low amount of power and torque given the FTO equivalent. Even against a non M engine.

Curious on how they drive and perform.

That figure is about right for a "normal" 2.0l on a "normal" car.

FYI, the 6a12 vanilla in Proton Perdana (4 door family saloon) is detuned & rated around 160-165bhp.

Most 2.0L engine in family saloon are producing around 150-170bhp the most.

Hmm, I suppose.

Guess I just expected more with being used to the FTO...

Might just have to test drive one.

Edit: Fixed title, hit X instead of D

EDIT 2: Was supposed to be a Z after all that. *which makes it a whole lot better.*

My old Mazda MS6 had a 2L V6, 160HP, so glad I got rid of it for this :p
May have been the same engine, or similar.

Edit, found some old photos, and it runs a K8 Engine... Interesting...

Yah, K8 is a bit of a different story, still a good engine, but far less power.

I think Wiki has a bit of misleading information with regards to horsepower and what country had what.

I will simply be test driving said cars with that engine soon.
Easiest way.
