Headlight Globes

Hi all,
I'm looking for some new high and low beam headlight globes for th FTO, along with some new globes for the parkers/fogs as well... I'm not in seek of an HID conversion at this point as I'm financially strained as it is, but I also want to increase my light output and possible convert to a whiter light for cosmetic purposes while I'm at it...
As it is, I have to drive high high beams on as regular beam barely allows me to see more than 8-10m in front of the vehicle, and the high-beam doesn't even affect other drivers (friends think it's normal and nobody ever flashes me or says anything)
Are there any aftermarket globes that I can get from supercheap or ebay (if it's trusted) that's both ADR approved and can actually increase my light output? I can see further in my mum's 1997 camry!

As for the fogs, what size globe do they take?
Cheers

hb4 lows hb3 highs
h3 fogs
t10 wedge parkers
Try Xennon white by narva etc for white effect
as for distance polish lights and maybe they need leveling (screw behind where bulb goes) you need a flat surface park against wall with lights on then go back around 10m if possible and then adjust to desired height.
Be aware that FTO never shines far ahead even with HID this is still the case mainly as the lights sit low already then of course lower if car is

We have been using these bulbs and they are quite good. They are rated for better vision than cosmetic looks. Rule of thumb, if you have white light, it will only 'appear' to be bright, but you will lose visibility, and quite significantly in the rain. They cost double here in Autobarn/Supercheap to what we paid in the group buy. You can still order the bulbs through that website, and they do have some promotions running time to time, and you will still get them cheaper than what you would pay here. Plus they have free shipping.

And keep in mind that ADR standard on headlights is maximum of 4300K, not that a cop will ever check :/

Yeah was meant to type that, and I forgot
The globes we are using are 4300K temp. If you go more than that, nice white looks, cops do pull you over and can defect your car. This guy (fto) here in Gold Coast got pulled over for running 5000K HID...then they found out that the HID was aftermarket. Not sure about SA, but better be safe than sorry.

I run HB3s in the low beam, only a few minor mods to make them fit.
In fact, there's a really old DIY here. Pics are missing, but you get the drift.

f**k, they even make adaptor cables for the conversion these days lol
Albeit this one is the wrong male - female, but you get the drift.

Wow, getting even more ideas now!
I should take a picture of the actual vision I have at night, it's awful. The lenses are actually polished believe it or not! They're undoubtedly in need of some major adjustment, because I can see the beam focusing directly about 3M in front of the car
The HB3s on low beam would be alright, conversion doesn't seem awfully difficult. At least it's one of those jobs that I could potentially take my time with if i et stuck, providing I don't drive at night

Yep the stock globes are pretty bad so get yourself a dremel and high beam globes and away you won't back.
I've actually been pulled over by cops before and they tried to ping me for driving without headlights and they had to sit in the car, fiddle with the headlight stalk and then look through the projector globes to believe that the headlights were actually on.

Haha, will give it a go. And if it can't be rebuilt you can just replace the internals with a ballast from a different car/aftermarket ballast.

Yeah, that will be the future result regardless.
Luckily Dwayne had a pair of each type and sold me the one I needed, so good for now.
Problem is the brackets hold water and rusted the casing through from the bottom.
I have since improved on their design, but it needs an "umberella" over the top to detract water away from the casing completely.
