Bad earth. Check your battery terminals & the earth strap to the gearbox.

You need to do a manual ECU code test, as could be sensor/s, injector/s, coil/s, fuel, etc
You sure none of your engine and/or throttle body sensors have unplugged themselves?

We're into familiar territory here! Finish this sentence:

If it was working before you touched it, .............................................

See if you have spark on any other cylinder, if you don't, it's going to be the injector harness plug not been hooked up properly, perhaps when you did the battery or TPS.
Go back over all your work. Failing that, check error codes & report back. And I still have suspicions about the earth btw...

Hahaha, same thing happened to me a couple of years ago.
Do you have much wire length still showing out from the timing belt cover.
I had about 3mm of wire hanging out and I was just able to reconnect without removing timing cover.
I had to get the FTO towed home when mine happened.
After I fixed it and put on a new belt, the belt broke again within a week and rebroke the sensor wires.
Ended up having to change the tension pulley as the bearing was f**ked causing the belts to break.

looks to be a common problem i have to replace the crank angle sensor as it has ripped the wires right off the sensor looks like a straight forward job ???
