Hey everyone

I am new to the FTO scene i just bought myself 1994 Trip Fto about 2 weeks ago and loving it. The only questions i have is i only noticed the other day that the N was flashing on my screen, so i pulled into the servo checked all the vitals, couldn't find any problems there. I remeber reading that the flashing N means there is some sort of problem with the vehicle. I was just wondering if it could either be something do with the transimition or another area of the car. I read in another post you can do a test to diagnose where the problem could be comming from and i was if that was my only option.

One more query i was wondering what the basic upgrades could be to gaining more power from my fto. without having to do to much work to the actual engine.

-exhaust
-extractors
-air filter
-spark plugs
-transmision oil
-cold air induction (i hear it is waist of money)
is all i can think off.

Your advice and expertise would be greatly appreciated.
thanks phil

I would do them in this order
-CAI(including air filter)
-Exhaust/Extractors
-the rest(as it will make min difference compared to the first 2)

the flashing is an error with your tip box. Most likely overheating. Give it a serive, investment in a aftermarket tranny oil cooler is a good idea.
