Hi, can anyone recomend where i can get my bodykit painted and fitted in brisbane??

Im not sure where to look, as on my last car i paid top dollar but had a bad experience with the certain well know company up here...

I am probably gonne get my kit from UAS, if you know anyone who can just paint and fit at a resonable price..and more importantly DO A GOOD JOB and give my car back in one piece. that would be sweet!!

Thanks
Mark

I can recommend DMD who did my the entire exterior work on mine. They do a pretty good job for a pretty good price. I have been back twice to have minor touch ups (paint runs etc...) repaired since the original respray and kit fitment but that is because I am very very fussy. The first time back was also mainly due to DMD rushing too much to get the car completed for Autosalon 03. As I'm sure you are aware I had custom kit work done and also a full respray. So mine was a little different as I had the supply, fit and paint of kit but I can't see they would lower their standard of work to just fit and paint stuff from elsewhere. I am now extremely happy with how my car looks and it is attributed directly to DMD pretty much so yeah I definitely recommend them.

I chose DMD over Ares Speed initially as Ares was more vague about the cost of the custom work required and generally they appeared stand off ish to me. On the flipside, Doan at DMD seemed genuinely interested in what I wanted to acheive and he has never been less than such, even now 12 months later. I can also say from a friends experience that Ares like to take their time  I don't know much about any other places in Brisbane as those are the major two. You could always just get a normal panelbeater to fit/paint your kit too as that may prove to be better and/or cheaper for you.

Glad you liked what you saw as I am certain mine looks a hell of a lot better in the flesh than in photos. I was gonna say you should look at some examples of car's done by different workshops incl DMD so you've already done that and spotted mine at the same time :D I guess if you're impressed enough with the fit/finish of mine then DMD would be worth considering for sure. Only possible problem is that they are probably gearing up for BAS 04 now and hence nearly booked up full but you never know. When you say you were getting a service, was that at DMD as I never knew they did that side of stuff too :?
