im so pissed off at the moment at the service im getting

23/06/04,wednesday, i put my car into oxford smash repairs on parramatta road strathfield to get a bodykit installed

they told me it would be ready by friday night which was 25/06/04
so i go on friday and they havent done anything to the car except take my front bar off but he said it will be ready the next day...
so i go saturday night, hasnt done anything to it. He tells me he'll come in on sunday to work on it all day and it will defeniatly be ready on monday morning. go back monday arvo still the same, they havent even began work on the car. they tell me tuesday.. go back on tuesday same thing havent done sh*t all to the car. i went today (which is 1 week later) didnt even bother walking into the shop to hear him say "tomorrow i promise" i just looked into the workshop to see nothing done to my car and just left

im so pissed off has anyone else experience something similar from these people?

i suggest you go somewhere else mate...
what bodykit is it you're getting fitted with??

i just cant go and say

"look fucker uve had my car for a week and you havent done sh*t, i want it back, so can u move these 5 other cars out of the way so i can go"

they are lebbo they wont do it...
no offence to any lebanese people who do things properly...

im getting a veilside bodykit on it

if they have done NO work at all on your car or the body kit you can do exactly that... UAS have a body shop they recommend just around the corner from them... lesson to learn from this is just because you saved a few bucks means you probably won't get the service you want.

and if they say no then take them to the consumers affair....
the fair trading place.....
they will either get your car out or do the job!
as a business they have the rights to keep customers happy, and these ppl act like the union for us customers.

If you are game, then do it, it is un-proffesional.

You can always threaten them with "consumer affairs", or spreading how bad thay are... atleast the outcome of this would be they might get of their asses...

I had a situation similar to this, except my car wasn't drivable so I couldn't drive it away.

don't do that.... go into the place... demand you get your car back.

I agree - go in person and demand your car - if they havent done any work, u owe them nothing.

Take a friend along so they can witness any screwy discussion.

I would try to get the car back but do it in manner that's reasonable.

You wouldn't want somebody from the workshop to do anything untoward to your vehicle behind your back.

i went today and the rear bar and front bar were on
but the wrong colour!
they painted the bodykit the wrong colour
the white on the hood doesnt match the white on the front bar..!!
the white on the boot doesnt match the white on the rear bar.>!!!

I had some issues with jetspeed last year with my veilside front bumper!... had to take it back the next day after being far from happy, they even forgot to fit my licence plate.. had to drive 30mins back to pick it up again...
i Had get them to re-fit it since it was such a bad moulding... plus they had to respray it since it was such a bad spray job!!!...
granted they kinda fixed it.... but only after an hour argument... it shouldnt be that way... Why are these places this way?
the next car i get i'm going to like it the way it is... standard!...

yeah mi old man spoke to them... he got angry at them
and they have agreed to respray the bodykit but im still far from seeing it close to completion

haha... yeh i took my old man down there too... he used to work for ralliart europe and here.... so he knows what he is talking about.. as jetspeed refused to do anything about it.. saying my car had been in an accident... which is crap...
So they have agreed to do something about it then.. well thats good news....
but seriously it should never have to be that way... why could'nt they do a what u paid for in the first place?...
