Horn issues

Hey all

I got pulled over today for having limo tint on the car so I have to run it over the pits by Friday next week. Should be easy enough to remove the tint and put the stock wheels back on but recently my horn has gone from 'manly' to 'girly', after what I suspect was the result of driving through big puddles in some recent downpours.
Does anyone know much about horn related issues and whether this kinda thing is an easy enough fix? I've read there are 2 horns on the FTO, under the bumper on each side. I'm hoping it's an easy enough job as I'll be doing it myself.
Thanks

You can access them through the wheel arches, if you need to replace them.

Real easy to fix. Just jack up the car, take both front wheels off and you can get to them from there as technikhaus said. They sit about under the headlights. Take the little cord clips out, then the horn itself. Could do with just a clean or you may need new horns. Could pick em up for like 20 bucks. Re-attach and youre set. .

Hey thanks heaps for the help on this one, people

I'll be tackling the problems this weekend... same weekend as my 300C parts arrive from the US after a looong 8 week wait. 2 cars to work on but hey, I start 3 weeks holiday on Thursday!!
Keep in mind that if my car doesn't pass the pits next week due to some expensive required repairs then I'm gonna part it out. I already have 2 other cars I'm working on and the FTO is just my 'bunky'. If anyone's needing parts I can help out. Finger's crossed it passes but I'll let you guys know how it goes... if they get me for anything it'll be engine leaks. I just hope the engine clean stays that way from my place to the inspection center (3km)
Btw, where can I get a horn from, should I need one? Any horn will be ok? Hit Super Cheap and grab any old horn?
Thanks!!

Out of curiosity where abouts are you located, you will have a few people wanting to buy the car as a whole i might imagine (like me if the price is right)

Got your PM, ZFL. Unfortunately like most FTO's the stereo surround is shot. The other part going down to the foot-well is decent though.
Taz, I am in WA. What I will do is post some pics up here in the next few days and if anyone is interested in the car we can talk $$. Even if it passes the pits I will be selling it anyway as I don't really wanna keep a third car.
I'd prefer to sell it whole, sticker or not, but if no takers after a few weeks then I'll part it out. It'll be well priced so I'm sure it'll sell quick

If your horn is loose on it will sound girly. Make sure its not loose on its mounting bracket.
