hey boys and girls,
i found this i had a quick read as im wanting to do this myself and it was very helpful, thought i would post the link incase anyone else wants to do that same thing.

Only done the front half at the moment. It's a relatively easy process it's just tricky to get the lifters on properly. Much easier with 2 people as it makes it easier to guide the lobes onto the tappets themselves.

Its also 10 times easier with the proper Mitsi tool (which isn't all that expensive) and a big ass magnet

You can make one out of a ruler. Search the dsm sites for a lifter removal tool template! Makes lifter removal so much easier.
I don't understand why people always say their old lifter is stiff which causes the tick. The reason why an old lifter is solid is because its full of oil. A new lifter can be compressed as its no bleed yet.
The ticking is caused by the lifters being too soft which causes the tick.
I can also confirm repco sell Nason lifters for the FTO for 11 bucks each.
