Only if you put a Mugen sunvisor sticker on your windscreen.

I'm not certain on what a stock GPX puts out, but would it be more then 125kW? And aren't they under a tonne?

Meaning, they'd be banned for P-Platers?

They aren't under a tonne and they probably wouldn't get 125kw either without a few mods

Figures for the stock Manual GPX as follows:
Power 197bhp = 144.89 kw
Kerb weight 1170kg
Yields a power to weight ratio of 197bhp/1.17kg = 164.1bhp/tonne = 120.7 kw/tonne
Torque 200Nm = wheel spin :D

EDIT: More with mods

Don't forget these numbers are at the engine/flywheel.
You are looking more at 100-110kws atw for a manual and around 90-100 for tip stock.

Thanks Aza :D
"Transverse, front drive transaxles usually have no direct lockup gears and no 1 to 1 ratio, however, since the torque path is never turned 90 degrees as in the rear drive setup and efficient helical gears are usually employed for the final drive set, losses are in the order of 6 to 9 percent from the flywheel to the drive wheels."

Where do the licensing authorities take their calculations from?

As above, factory specs are measured at the flywheel, as a rule of thumb, lose 1/3 of that to get the wheel figure.

Also note, factory weight figures are done minus fluids. Ie no oil, water, gearbox oil, ps fluid, brake or clutch fluid etc. And most importantly, it doesn't include driver weight.
