On my usual trapes through my sites for engines/halfcuts i came accross this bad boy:

http://www.brisbanemotorimports.com.au/ ... hi/6a12-tt

6a12TT for $1450 in Brisbane
Great price for anyone thinking about turboing their 6a12 or changing to 6a13 but dont have the money.

No prob. Just flip the engine 180deg, then flip the plenum around 180deg too and presto! You're all good!

This ^^

If the plenum wont go on ass about, just rip the runners out of an FTO one & bolt it on. You may also have to use the lower section of the FTO manifold as well.

Would the engine mounts, exhaust etc all line up?

I guess they would, being it is a 6A12 block. Only other issue would be clearances with all the turbo plumbing?

With this conversion (assuming that it all fits up and everything there would be no need to engineer it like you would a 6a13 because technically your just bolting a few turbo's on yes?

You will still need to put it over the pit so to speak as the RMS ((Roads and Maritime Services) previasly known as RTA) needs the new engine number and so on. It will not need to get the full going over like they would if it was a totally different engine.

Yes kids they have changed their name  .
