Hello,

I'm sure every one knows what I'm talking about...

I know it's an old thread but has any one done it yet?
If so could they let us know who did it and the cost etc...

I have seen one yellow FTO on the road so far who had this done on their car....but haven't seen any after.....

Now I wish I got out of the car chased after him!!!!
:(

Anyway, if there is some one who has done it already please share with us all how you got it done.

Thanks,

I was going to do it but it was too complicated. you have to melt the light casing in the oven to melt the silicon, pull it apart, paint the bits with high temperature paint (I'd go gloss) then melt it back together.

i havent seen it done on an FTO yet, however I'd say it would look similar to this... they have similar lights anyway...

yes but it's different..

You can't pull out a nice car and say it's going to look like this....
Ofcourse on a nice car, anything would look good on it or done to it...

But I know what you mean...

I have seen one on the road, and it was a yellow FTO too...And it looked very different...just for that little change it just made the car look quite different....and that's wwhy I am so keen to know about it....

But it seems like it's more trouble then what it looks like....and doesn't seem like any one here has done it!

Damn I should have cought that guy!!!!!!!

Hey, i am 100% certain that i have seen an fto member do that before

If i remember correctly it was silver painted interior (of the headlight) on a blue GPvR.

This was from ftooc.org in the United Kingdom.

The forums there usually have extensive information on FTO's and alterations, so maybe try there, although it may take some time to sift through the forums.

Good luck :)

I only posted the Ferrari because it has very smilar light structure to FTO. The effect would be very similar.

Any one dare to bake their headlights in the oven for 5 minutes?

If it works, it'll be great!!!!

Huummmm.......If I only had my spare headlight before.........I never thought of having a go in that way!!!!
Damn!

Any one tried already?

So...how does that help me with painting the inside of my car's head lights?

I don't get it!!!

I know what it'll look like once I get it done....
I just want to know how to do it.....So that it can look like that.....

Any one know of any other safer way of doing this?

Thanks,
