haha nah its running, just sideswiped it while parking.
wasnt speeding or doing anything stupid. Just bad judgement.

Go get another quote or two, 2k for that is utter bullshit. You won't need mew panels, they will pop/bog out easy enough. You can do the fender yourself if you take it off, the most expensive thing there is paint if you spray the while thing and don't just touch it up.

2k including the door and a quart panel i thought was reasonable. I guess that shows how inexperienced i am. Plus hes gonna fix my front bar (which i needed to do anyway) fix the mirror and respray it blending into the bonnet, koz im told its a metallic paint with a tinge of pearl.

2k isn't that much an overquote, it is a little bit but you'll have to shop around a fair bit to get what you mentioned (front bar aswell) done. I didn't think the black had any pearl and also black is definitely the easiest colour to match !

2K seems unreasonable.

Just buy a door and fender from someone wrecking a car and take it to a spray painter to paint. Fit it yourself.
Or try finding the same color.

Yeah I know, i couldn't give a sh*t about the rim lol koz I'm going to get those replaced.
The car did need a wheel alignment before the accident anyway so I'm going to get that done, get new suspension also (most likely from pedders) after I've done my "safety check".
