AN / Aeroflow hoses - how do you use/assemble them?

These things not only look great but I beleive are also supposed to provide a really good coupling on hoses.

I've looked at a few you tube videos on how to assemble them and I can see how it works for one end (where you twist it onto the hose and then screw in the male tapered piece - red in the picture) but what do you do with the blue end as it looks like a different fitting.
What if I want to join two hoses together?
Do you just screw something into the blue end like this ? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/O-ring-Port- ... 4cfe15e375

Depends what you're connecting too. If joining hoses, yeah you can use the screw style if you want. Its up to you, there dozens of acceptable ways of doing it.

I recently made up a couple for my oil cooler setup. On one end I used the same taper screw style fittings you've got there, on the other I used the tapered barb style fittings... purely because those are the fittings I had lying around. Especially considering the price of them! The screw fittings have so far been the best. Even as tight as the barb style fittings were to push in there, they leaked. Had to use hose clamps as well.

I want to make my remote brake reservoir setup better.

Think I need push fit 120 degree or 90 degree an8 like this Image to push into the master cylinder (currently using 90 degree 12mm barb to 12mm barb then hose and hose clip).
But then wondered what you do with the female screw end - I guess I just get a matching double ended an8 male connector to put into the female then another female connector on the end of the double ended male jobby and make sure it has a tapered fitting on like you've used for the hose?

(and yeah I should know how to screw a female by now I suppose)
