RABID BATTERY

Stephen did you give your battery rabies after fitting a new regulator to the alternator. The reason I ask is because I was offered a regulator which was identical to our's (genuine Mitsu) except the numbers on top of the black plastic cover were different. I have subsequently been told this is the heat shield rating, and if fitted to our alternators will cause rabid battery and ecu mixamatosis.
