Some of you may have seen this done on foulz car - thats where i copied it from.
However i just did 80% of my engine bay in the same material, except in red - and the results i think look great. I dont think I can host pics here, but if you like to see the pics, or someone can host them let me know.
send me an email

Hi,
I'm sure there is some one who can host the pics here....
So that we can stop bothering you with e-mails asking for pics...
But yes I would love to see some as well...
Please send some to
skkim@vodafone.net.au
Thank you,

thanks mate (and thanks for hosting), there is still a few to go, but obviosuly you get the idea! some of the pipes are for the AC, and i dont really want to touch them! I think you have to get the gas etc filled - which might get to $$
I also need to get some red clips as the one black one spoils the effect a little!

cheers,
i actually cant remember! i bought the red piping about 4 months ago, i think it was about $90 delivered??? ill try and find the receipt. basically it is available in any colour, and different widths and lengths. I couldnt find it in melbourne though!
Its a fiddly job and quite messy. some of the pipes are quiet hard to get off and coolant normally sprays everywhere! just make sure you know what the pipe is before you take it off! You can see i took a bit of a short cut on one pipe and didnt take both ends off as it was too messy.
it actually didnt take long
the rest of the engine bay, mivec cover, and the various lids etc have just been cleaned and then sprayed in a heat resistant red.

Sorry, it's working now.
I am trying to view it from work...there must be some thing wrong with the work network...
Anyway, I was going to do these as well...where do you get them from....Are they in Sydney?
Also, do you know if they sell these in 3" tubes as well? cause if they do i was thinking of using these for the air intake.....

Cause they are heat resistent!

Only if they do sell them in that size that is....
Thank you,

the place is called AAP Sales in sydney
and its called the "techflex kit"
they also sell the braided lines etc, but you can get these anywhere
www.americanautos.com.au
part number is PET13CK
the price is $85!
i found an old email haha.
they kit is universal, and stretches to fit most pipes. It WILL NOT fit an air intake pipe though, thats far to wide, but you may find they have something similiar that does fit
