Not sure if trolling or newbie keyboard operator.

also down the bottom, "Say you saw it on eBay." does this entitle one to a discount of $170,000 crowns?

It's got the wrong wheels and wrong exhaust. "Will suit the fussiest collector" my ass. If I had that sort of money to play with, I wouldn't pay that much for a car that had been changed, and still expect it to be a collectors item. Something like that must be kept completely stock, because as soon as you start changing things, you lose all credibility.

That, and it's red. Not a true blue-meanie

That is stock.

The last one that sold went for $300,000.

(EDIT: Sorry, they expected $300k but the max bid was $100k)

Yes, it's an HDT, but it's not a bathurst edition.

It's the VL Director. Nice car, they've even used it for the photos on the HDT website. I was wrong about it being stock, but I'm not wrong in saying it's been advertised as the wrong vehicle.

The "Bathurst" editon refers to factory options on the engine. The "Aero" part is talking about the body kit.

They were based on the Executive;

I'm pretty sure this is a really rare commodore.

Pity this simply looks like some poor attempt at a kit from the 80s.
Not to my taste at all, despite it's possible heritage.
I much prefer the more common and well know brock edition kit.

If you're trying to say that that's an HDT Director, then you're wrong...Directors are VERY different to that...What you see there is a Genuine Brock Edition HDT VL Group Bathurst.

Directors have wider guards, Calais styled rear lights, and a different spoiler and rear garnish. ENTIRELY different.
