FTO AUSTRALIA

Hey all,
Did the FTO ever come out with just one airbag in the wheel, and no passenger one?
the car I'm looking at has the Momo airbag wheel, and nothing on the passenger side...
How could you tell that it is connected up?

Passenger side airbag was only optional.

Hmmmm, Dwayne could probably confirm more so as I'm going against Bennoz here.

I thought pre-FC had driver, no passenger (momo could have been placed on later... option maybe?)
Facelift had both driver and passenger.

Airbag was optional for driver and passenger pre face lift. My 96 GPX has a driver airbag but no passenger airbag.

OK, For most prefacelift airbag was option for drivers side. Passenger airbag was introduced as an option later. Initially, the airbag wheels were not Momo (although for later prefacelift, momos appeared), they came in a couple of ugly Mitsubishi variants. On facelift FTO's drivers was pretty much factory fit (Momo), but passengers continued to be optional. Its easy to spot. Directly above the glovebox smack bang in the middle of the dash.
