Interior Rattles

in the process of researching FTO details:
some questions (scattered over various posts)
Do the interiors of your FTO's rattle?
ie, over bumps, do certain areas of your dash, seats, parcel shelves, windows etc squeek/ rattle/ vibrate at certain revs/ rattle over bumps/ etc?

Yeah I have rattles ect. nothing major but im in the middle of going through the car and trying to fix each noise one at a time not a hard job (not yet anyway) just time consuming.
The thing that you have to remember is that a lot of the cars are getting on in age (up to 10 years) so you have to expect a few rattles. Having said that Im sure there are guy/girls who dont have any.

I think one of the most common rattles would be the windows in the down position, i hear is a easy fix. My passenger side window rattles while down.
Use to get a fair bit of vibration through the car between 3 and 4 thousand revs but found it was just he exhaust that was lose $30 later problem solved

it could also be the passenger's teeth chattering with nerves from how most of us drive our FTOs

Story Time
The other day, my gf scared the sh*t out of me. While driving I could hear this squak, over and over... I was like wtf... listening to it... etc...
Came down to that the squak was coming from her new handbag, the brackets that hold the handles on, anyways this reminded me so much of that car add where the guy gf earings squak, and he stops at the servo... hahaha...

cool..
so other than nothing majorly hard to get to (apart from maybe the parcel shelf speaker grills)
theres something psychological about a car that doesnt squeak (even if its really old) that makes the occupants feel that its not 'old' or unreliable..
when you get the rattles in there, it feels like its about to fall apart - ofcourse, its all in your head..

there's not normally anything major.. just tighten a few nuts / screws and reseat some bits of plastic is all that is required
