Why would you send your engine half way around the country just to be rebuilt?
There'd be countless places in Vic that would do all that.

Price range?
Well apart from the thousands you would fork out in shipping, and the long wait for delivery you will be looking at around 5+ by the prices on their individual parts - i.e. pistons, gaskets etc as they are all forged.
Could buy a nice half cut and put it in for that price range

I was thinking of purchasing a mivec located in perth if i can find one and having it sent there and then on to me.
But then again, price would probably be ridiculous to get it back here.
But i was thinking it would still work out cheaper as a mechanic here would have to purchase the parts from RPW anyway at retail price? Also they'd probably charge more for labor?
My gf's dad is a mechanic but he'd never touch my car and I wouldn't want him to anyway....cause he'd never allow his daughter back in haha.
Hmmpffff
