Hey everyone
I am a new car owner, as the FTO is probably the first proper car that I have owned, and thus I would like to treat it with some respect. I am having some major issues with my suspension though, and it is time to get it replaced. I live in berowra, Sydney, and I was hoping that someone on here was a mechanic that could help me with it, or at least know of a mechanic that has done it before. The suspension that I currently have is at a great height(Very Low) but it seems to be sagging, and it is getting to the point where when I turn the guards are rubbing against the ground.
So I am on here pleading for help, as I do not want to do any permanent damage to my car.
Hope to here from someone soon

There is a guide on how to replace the shocks and springs. Here it is:

It isnt extremely hard to do if you have the right tools. But any mechanic with half a brain would be able to do it or a suspension specialist.

Berowra area has some good driving roads, drive safe
Bennoz has mentioned this place not far from you that has experience with FTO.

I have brand new set of KYB's shocks for sale if interested for $260. PM if interested.

Could you perhaps post a pic of the car?
You could simply have too big a tyre size, the tyres will rub on the strut tower arms and make the rubbing sound...
I personally would find it highly unlikely for what you are describing, though it is possible.
The more likely cause however is what I have described...

It's your wheel running against your guards.
Changing shocks will give ya stuff all height increase, change your springs!!
