Master Slave Cylinder replacement

So on the highway yesterday my clutch gave in and wouldn't spring back. The roadside assistance guy told me my Master Slave Cylinder had broke. The car had to be towed away.

How much expense am I in for? Is it easy to fix?

Any help appreciated, thanks.

4 bolts, a couple line connections & a pedal pin, that's about it. Then a bleed.

Both items are the same as a CE Lancer.

Shoulda just started the car in second, driven home & saved yourself the tow

The FTO will do 100 in second you know ;)

Edit: Of course stopping is the other issue
Slow down, ignition off and pop it out of gear :D
Not pretty and at your own risk

Actually I reckon if you got the revs right you could drive our gearbox without a clutch :!:

Been there, done that. It works! Just have to be careful though, its pretty rpm sensitive. I blew a slave cylinder in Brookvale once, managed to get back to Chatswood by match revving.
