how much gain from a decat pipe?

Thinking about decating the system.( i know its illegal) Would like to use the cat housing and punch out the cat.
questions are, how much gain am i looking at? was reading some articles online and some say they can feel a bit of difference some say its not noticeable.
will it affect back pressure or the O2 sensor?(i think FTO O2 sensor is in front of the cat right?
Was thinking about running a pipe inside the cat housing.
anyone driving around with a decat in nsw?

Ok well 1st:- gain of 10kws top end
Back pressure affected = no
O2 sensor affected = no
O2 sensor in front of the cat = yes
Street use
Track only and dyno days
Any thing more than that and you play a time game to see when you will get done for it.

Just punch it out incase you get defected. If you put a pipe through it... its very obvious lol.

There was a few interesting vids in which Tarzan tested out his rivals car decating on a dyno.
In a top car like that they managed to get an extra like 4kw i think it was out of the car - which was tuned to run without it so i doubt there will be any noticeable effect if any just swapping it out like that

my friend d cat his car.. stinks!! haha i was like why not just buy a new exhaust system.. youre going to pay 83217482374 times more for the fine lol.
just get an exhaust system done, save the trouble. it seriously smells lol i cant stand it

Already got my exhaust done. Just thinking about way to get more out of it. Thanks guys, i think i'll stick to having a cat to save all the trouble.
but i am still gonna get my resonator out and see if theres any different.

i was thinking about decating the mr2 , apparently for the 00-02 mr2 engines it sucks all the sh*t into the engine then fcks up the pistons, still wondering what other ways to do it in the legal ways,

anyone has a used cat? 2.5 inch. would like to try it out and keep my high flow cat so i can swap over whenever.
