Do we have oil squirters under the pistons?

Hi guys,
So, the Mitsubishi turbo engines have oil squirters under the pistons, and wondering whether the MIVEC range has this feature as well or not?
And, are MIVEC cranks nitrided?

I'm under the impression from previous conversations that we don't have the squirters and also that the crank isn't nitrided but i'm sure someone with better knowledge than I can confirm.

That's pretty disappointing.
Are the oil squirters only ever used to keep piston temps down?

I thought it was primarily for lube?
I pulled an SR20 apart the other day & it had them. Not much too it really.. wonder how hard it would be to retro fit an FTO rod for it...

I am sure they are primarily to keep the temps lower for the piston, and maybe additional lubing is a bonus.
This is why turbo cars have them.
I have heard you can retro fit these into an engine, not sure how hard it would be
