Climate control has a mind of its own

Hi all
A bit of a weird one, whenever I turn the dial for the climate control to go up or down it will often do the opposite of what I want. E.g. I want to make it 2 degrees hotter, it will go down .5 degrees, up 1 degree then back down 1 degree...
It's quite annoying really!

Ideas?

Taking a page from the companies IT excuse book.
Have you tried restarting the system? lol
i.e. disconnect battery, then reconnect after 15 minutes, let everything reset.

Yup, ECU reset is needed. It will also fix any slow punctures, make the car shinier and make you more attractive to female petrol pump attendants.
As well as everything else it is claimed to be good for

Will it also enable the nos-purge system that came stock with the Fto?

Don't be stupid.
For that to work, you need to disconnect the battery to reset everything, and in those 15 minutes, disasemble and reasemble the car complete, not one thing can be left on it at all.
Good luck.
