Hi, Could some one help me with the parts required for an auto Trnasmission service for am 94 Mivec Tiptronic please.

I took it ot the local Shell service station and when I come back at the end of the day they did nothing because they could not get any parts . Ithink they are too scare to open it up. He told me taht he could not get the some gasket for the transmission box.
I know the filter is auto Transmission Oil Filter sis MD752072 .
does any one know what the gasket part number is and what else is needed to replace during the transmission service ? and what is the best oil to use

Thanks

i wouldn't be servicing your FTO at a shell... no offence to those blokes but its a completely different car from what they are used to...

what state are you in?

the transmission oil filter is about $20.00 from memory (could be wrong) and its availble from Mitsubishi as a genuine part...

or you could take the easy way out and call Unique Autosports who always have them in stock.

The best thing is to ring arround a lot of auto trans place until you find one that doen`t say " whats an FTO?".
If you plan to race/trackdays/sprints or turbo in future, you should not only have it serviced but fully strengthened. A trans oil cooler is a must. Plus the FTO has a weakness in the billet pins in the torque converter. I spent a lot of money having forged billet pins made so the box would take almost anything.
