Weren't they the exact same thing? I never thought there was any difference. In fact, I thought Aero was what they just called GPvR's, but a less common name?

Wasn't the aero a full optioned GPvR? From memory it was available in a tiptronic gearbox, full climate control etc.

Fully optioned Version R. Yoiu dont get things link climate control still, but things like side skirts, dual airbags, kick plates, rear wiper etc. Basically, most of the options come standard from what I can tell. Certainly did on mine, and indications from the material I researchd tend to suggest the same - so does a translated version of the brochure.

You also forget the exclusivity of it! I cant say i have the rarest fto model...but you can! shotgun dwaynes aero when he karks it
I hate airbags, rather not have them, got better kick plates, couldnt care about rear wiper (weight reduction?! ) etc
I prefer to call mine a FTO GPvR Aero + :D lol

Youll be waiting a looooong time.......

Actually, based on the pics Borep just sent, rear wiper is still an option. I will add the sticker in the rear bar to that list. There is more as well, just cant be stuffed looking it up.

Better kick plates?

standard, but then it is for the Version R as well. Little more power from memory though (slightly different figures - may be a typo though)
