Pics soon 8)

BUT, I ordered 18's with 225/35...and had 18's with 225/40 deliverd..SH**!

anyways, Its all ok with no rubbing at the moment..but now I dont know how much to lower cause of the tyres... I know eveyone says go -40mm to -50mm front and -15 to -25mm back...

Can people tell me some brands that they have and where they got them from as not many places have a list for the fto

At the moment, Im looking at whitelines as my only option with -40 to -50 front and -25 to -40 rear...

I'm in the market for some springs as well. Not sure what I'm gonna go for yet but I'll hopefully make my mind up soon.

i find the whiteline springs are fine for most people, as long as you're not planning on putting the car on the track on a regular basis

I use"superlow" King Springs over 225/35 18s. The measured drop (for my car) was approx 50mm and 10mm front and back respectively. Lower would of course be nicer but I would then have legal issues (100mm clearance at front bar etc...) with my kit. Ride with this setup is harsh but not overly so and thats with stock shocks too.

thanks for that guys,

I got the superlow kings..so that was easy!

hey indy, do you find your stock shocks are fine with -50mm at the front..and how long have you had the stock shocks with the lowered springs?

Just trying to get an idea of how long mine should last

for all interested in knowing, Just picked up my car..

With standard shocks and 18x7.5 wheels and 225/40 tyres I had my car lowered with king springs -50mm front and -30mm rear.

I was expecting a real bumpy drive, but it feels almost the same 8O

Anyways on my old s13 silvia that was lowered 1.5 inch with 17"s the ride was bumpy as hell and this is sooo not bumpy compared that that!!

oh and there is only slight rubbing on the front while on hard turning..but thats what you get with a 40 profile tyes.. I had orded 225/35's but 225/40's were delivered.. BASTARDS..but its only small scaping..actually less then when it was at standard height 8O figure that one out!

Are you using the Whiteline Control or Flat Out springs? So many damn springs to choose from.

Had 18s and Kings for two years now (on std shocks) and no issues yet or at least I haven't noticed any. Perhaps the deterioration of the shocks would happen slow enough for me not to notice? Although it appears to drive the same as when I brought it so I'd say they are still fine. Pity you didn't receive the 35 profiles as I very rarely get any rubbing with mine...Shouldn't they have exchanged them for you at their cost given that is what you paid for and also the fact the 40s would probably be reasonably cheaper?
