hmm, very intersting, might go to showing a bit why the 6A12 is becoming more popular as a transplant into lancer and mirage's and protons too.
Very good though?
Why for availablitity of parts?

a proton is bascially a lancer, so why chose any other engine, drops right in.

i'm not sure about the Perdanas, but most protons are based on the Mitsi lancer chassis so it only makes sense to fit the GSR or Evo motor in them... I know quite a few Protons in Malaysia (and locally) which are powered by the 4G63B from the VR4 and Evo 3....

This is based on the galant!
It has the same 6A12 engine as the FTO, but once again the gearbox is mounted on the wrong side!!!.
(SO dont think it will bolts straight up.

hmmm, the 6A12TT should bolt straight in like a hand in glove then... ;)8)
but i don't suppose the Perdanas are RWD are they? They look pretty sleek though'... too bad they done sell 'em here either - looks way better than the Avalon LoL...
