You probably just noticed that 10 minute outage (and probably all had heart attacks lol)

I've just upgraded us from phpbb version 3.0.8 to 3.0.9. For more info on what changes there are, see here:

I will shortly be doing another backup - apologies if the site seems a little slow for half an hour or so, then I'll be rebuilding the search index - which will also slow the site a bit.

So hang in there, wont be long

Just putting the finishing touches on the new search index as we speak folks.

FYI, I have disabled access to the search function when not logged it, so guests can not use it. I fear this is what caused your problem to start with, bot search attacks designed to overload the server...

Can we restore the forum where the logins are saved? Only on my iPhone does it save my login, no other computer will and it gets annoying having to login each time.

I also sent you an e-mail a few weeks back regarding finishing the design of the site

Nah.

If you're having trouble with it not saving your login details, delete your cookies.

Then when you log into this site for the first time, make sure you put the tick in the box 'remember me'

If you don't do that on the first login back after clearing cookies, then matter how many times you try ticking that box subsequently, it wont work.

Oh & btw, your my skins guy Nighthawk, its a skin related issue. Doesn't happen on the other skins
