There's a nut in that metal pipe that attaches it to the fuel filter. If you're car still runs fine and there's no leaks from a maybe-damaged fuel line, then you're lucky.

Same thing happened to my fuel filter at the DIY day, we tried everything and couldn't get it out because the bolt was too tight. I'm tempted to trace back the fuel line and undo it completely first unless anybody has some recommendations :)

The filter must be still mounted to the car when undoing the bottom fitting.

You also need a 14mm brake line spanner to ensure you get it undone without damaging it.

If you cant get that one undone, you'll have no chance of getting the other end of the fuel line undone from the tank.

If you do root the fuel line, there are tools available to recut & re-flare the fitting so it can be used again. But you'll lose some length (mans worst nightmare lol)
