im planning to preorder either battlefield 3 limited edition or the mw2 prestige pack when its released.

thoughts about the 2 games??

BF3 hands down.

Frostbite2 game engine, helicopter. planes, atvs, tanks, AA etc.

MW3; same engine as MW2 & Black Ops.

Did someone say 64 player maps?...

Personally I've always been a COD man, didn't like BF because the visual element just let it down.
However COD has become so formulaic (guess they use the theory: don't fix what ain't broke)
but now that BF3 has picked up its graphics to at least COD standard.. the idea of levelling real looking buildings really appeals to me.
so my vote is BF3.

I've been waiting ages for BF3 to come out and was planning going down the shops this morning to get it but then the worse thing happened - my 6 year old got sick so i've had to keep her off school and can't leave the house aaaaaaaargh (I work from home btw)

I'm hoping the shops still have copies later when my wife gets back from work, i missed out on pre-ordering BF2 when that came out and had to wait 2 weeks for more stock to come in then.
Edit: Just phoned jbhifi and they are going to hold me a copy to pick up later today, seem like the best price for xbox 360 at $89, game are charging $98 and eb games $108.
