Hey want to buy a new fuel filter for my Mivec FTO but last time i brought one and tryed to instal it it was the wrong 1 and wasted a cood couple of hours mucking around with it. the part that the bolt bolts into was a different length from the 1 i had in there and no matter how tight you did it (even till it bent the new filter) it would still leak regardless if i used the washer that came with it or not.

so..... where is a place some1 has brought a fuel filter from for there MIVEC and fitted it with no problems?
thanks

Fuel filters are the same for all FTO models. Z441 available from any auto shop. Sounds like you got done by a retard sales person previously.

i had a little bit of a look today and the bolts are tight, the 1 near the batt is so tight i cant undo it with the air ratchet (decent air compressor) and i can get a 1/2'' drive 19mm socket on it but even with a breaker bar the whole filter moves in its holder when i try n turn it.

any tips to getting the bolts off? the fuel filter i got also came with 4 washers.... use 2 on each side?? btw the head of the bolt on the batt side is slightly stripped...... put socket + spanner on each bolt and 1 will give?

gonna attack it tomoro
