Ok so I am thinking about it for some time. Just wondering what are the cost I'm looking at and whats the ballpark figure I should be looking at from the Mechanic side. I know I have to get a gearbox, drivetrain, pedals etc and looks like there is a person selling it (look at for sale section). Tax time is coming :) so if its affordable I might just decide to take the plunge...but of course need the figures for the deciding factor. Thanks in advance guys for the help.

Oh and one more thing, do I have to get it certified after the conversion??

lol thanks for the offer dude. Still thinking about it. Can anyone tell me more abt manual conversion like what else I need. I know I need a gear box, pedals, manual drive train, clutch, clusters, centre console...what else? can I use the same oil box of the auto for the manual? Tried looking at the DIY from Jono but it all ended prematurely. Just want some insight to whats the parts needed and the usual cost then I will decide. the most I would like to fork out is $1500.

Nvm my previous post. I did a search and came up with Vipfto's post on the items needed. Imma gonna call the guy up and see what are the items he has to do the conversion. Problem now is bringing it over to me. Tat guy is up in NSW and i reckon it is gonna cost a bomb to get it to Melb
