I've never heard of an FTO column needing replacing. Wanna bring it round tomorrow for me to look at? You're getting a bum steer from your trusted mechanic mate.

If you need one, ive got a few, but youll need to change all your locks (or get it re-keyed) if you go down that path in all probabbility as the ignition barrel wont match the barrels in the door. Im with Bennoz on this one though. Unless it is bent (and if it was your wheel wouldnt turn properly), you shouldnt need one.

Well apparently my last mechanic, my 'trusted' one was wrong in most of what he was saying and it wasn't fixing anything. So I won't be going back there again. BUT I took the car to MEEK today and they replaced 3/4 of my sway bar droplinks and that actually did it a world of good.
Now there is something in my steering that is loose. I showed Chris and he checked a couple things and came to the conclusion that there was play in my steering column, that the bearings had gone or something.

Bennoz, it would be awesome if I could get a second opinion from you. (I do actually think Chris may be right), but I won't be able to drop around tomorrow. But you available any nights this week? (Maybe monday or tuesday?)

and Dwayne, how much would I be looking at to get one of yours up here?
