Tyres asap!

I currently have 18 inch rims with tyre size: 225/35/R18 87H for my front tyres and 235/40/R80 95H for the rear tyres.
my front tyres need changing tomorrow and was given a quote, of which to replace the front tyres with the same ones are double the cost of the back tyre size.
I was woundering if the 235/40/R80 95H tyre size would fit on my front wheels or is it common to have smaller tyres on the front wheels than the rear wheels?

On performance rear wheel drives it is smart to have a slightly larger and wider tyre on the rear. But for front wheel drive (correct me if I'm wrong) it doesn't really give you an advantage, unless of course you had say 22mm thick rear sway bars and wanted a little extra traction.

215/40 for the front
205/40 for the rear

your wheels will then look identical to mine

Stretched is fking ghay & potentially unsafe. Twice the load on the tyre wall bead when cornering. Stupid Japs.
