Dunno
We had Vipers, Corvettes, a Lamborghini, a GT-40 replica, plenty of Porsches including GT3 Cup, plenty of Lotus's and the usual MX-5', RX-7's etc racing with us. Over 50 cars started the weekend in our category alone!

Awesome footage Shane!
I still can't get over the times you ran. My brothers mate who I went to watch had an Evo 6 TME in the regularity comp (he just wanted to set the fastest lap time he could rather than race) and even with almost 200kwatw and semi slicks he only managed 2 seconds faster than you....which you may have made up with 5th gear.
This guy is no slouch as a driver and that car hauls so I am amazed you were so close.
From the footage I am impressed at how settled the car seems. Is that just what happens when you stick super sticky rubber on an FTO or have you done a lot of suspension tweaks? Care to share your setup suspension wise?

I reckon I would have gone close to breaking 2:40 with 5th gear, that was my original goal for the weekend. Top speed should have been closer to 230 on Conrod.
Suspension setup is pretty basic at the moment, getting the suspension setup right is still on my list
Also the tyres I run are used, ex Mini Challenge tyres. So although they are slicks they've already had a fair bit of use before I get them. They're still good for a few seconds over semi slicks though, depending on brand and condition. With new tyres though I reckon I'd get another couple of seconds again, but my biggest problem is still lack of power. The car way out handles it's power capability.
Also although I was pretty happy with the 2:45.3, it was by no means a perfect lap. There's still probably at least a couple of seconds just in getting every corner right.

Driving to the point your tyres screech is overdriving = slow
Besides that slicks have different overgrip characteristics than semi slicks. Where semi slicks are more forgiving, they have less grip but if you exceed their grip level it's drops off gradually, slicks have more grip but if you exceed their grip levels the drop off can be a lot more sudden. Not something you want to experience at Bathurst
