Hey,
I was talking to a friend who works for the place i got my extractors, and he said he can get as many as i wanted but he can get them cheaper than 600. most likely b/w $450 and $500 but definately less than 500.

But he told me to get numbers first before he gives me a definate quote.

Plus i duno what extra power increases this is going to give b/c i havent done them on my car. :P

Cheers
Tim

So you have the extractors, but have not fitted them yet?

I would be interested, but not until I am aware of the actual performance difference.

I tell you what...I will fit YOUR extractors to my car and then I will tell you if I want them. Cant say fairer then that!

So are these genuine ones from RPW? Or are they copies?

my 2c says they're not RPW extractors... must be either a copy/hybrid of some sort, or a custom job...

Does include the flex pipe, between the extractors and cat ?

What material are they made from, whats the length of the pipes (eg equal length on both side?) & whats the diameter of the pipes 1.5inches or 2...............

Timmy,
before you do a group buy i would like to see Dyno proven results on them so that people can see what they are buying. if your mate isn't prepared to back them up with a dyno result i would be worried..

FYI for everyone else the extractors on the FTO are about 6-8inch's long and connect to the engine pipes.

Unique AutoSports after much investigation decided the extractors are fine and built engine pipes only, providing a 6kW gain on Tip cars and more on Manual's

RPW built extractors / engine pipes in one, haven't provided dyno results of their product.

its not that where not prepared to do a dyno its just,
1. ive not even got the cash to fit them let alone do a dyno.
2. i dont know of any mechanics around the dandenong area that has a dyno. :/

and yes there is the piping b/w the extractors and the cat, similar to that of UAS.
i doubt these are RPW extractors, mainly b/c i duno where in sydney they acually came from.

And this is purely to see who is interested.

any more ques.?

Cheers

if its similar to what UAS did why reinvent it???? if its purely extractors and they are prepared to ship to Sydney we can dyno them up here and provide independant results.

there are already two options

engine pipes = UAS
extractors + engine pipes = RPW

unless they are doing something different, in my honest opinion there aren't enough FTO's out there to make it a worthwhile investment knowing the amount it costs to develop and tune this sort of thing.

it's also doubtful that you will get much of a response until the product is available and from my experience with group buy organising only 40-50% of those who register interest will actually spend the money

TimmyD,

Any chance you could show some pics? I just want to see what the pipes look like.

TimmyD,

Any news on this. Can you get some specs or pics of these?
