Prob someone else has with my car.which I aint got yet.

The car will start and drive but it will not idle, the ignition warning light (is this the CEL also ?) stays on all the time the ignition is turned on even when the car is being driven..
As I haven't picked the car up or payed the balance owing yet and it's 1000klms away my interest is somewhat academic, but non the less real for all that.
It is a manual FTO GPX
Anybody like to postulate a probable cause ?
