lol, custom building it would of got you a even better system for much less.

You're basically paying big bucks for the Alienware sticker :P

I don't doubt it would be a beastly system at $7k though

Still amazed Dell can almost double the price simply by putting a little Alien head logo on, what is basically just an XPS 1730 with upgraded internals.

Still.... must go like the clappers! Nice bit of tech.

it's all about presentation :) go check out a yt vid of it, it looks so jizzing on the inside. If i built the same case myself i would save about 2 grand but i'm going to salary sacrifice it for work and get about that back anyway

the 3 year warranty and having legit windows and customer service make it all worth it.

The case weighs 45kg lmfao

i pretty much maxxed the specs, only things i didn't get were ssd as its too pricey atm and 1600MHZ ram opposed to my 1333.
I got maxxed video cards and cpu 1.2kw psu. I can't wait for it to arrive.

Everyone go watch a youtube video, that pretty much sells it. I know it's a luxury but you're only young once and i am not planning on upgrading again for another 5 years

Meanwhile, back to topic (2002) I still wouldnt buy a computer which had DULL spit on it.
They used to be nice before they were bought out, but now I'm not so sure.

Give me parts anyway, alternatively, the magic Apple.
